I also got Ruby and Sapphire to comtemplate my Emerald. I bought a new version off the internet just now, and it appears to be real. Go to options > Emulator > Save Type and click on Flash 128k. I extracted the sav with gba backup tool and when i put it in PKHeX it say me the size is invalid or binary is not compatible with save. I'm assuming that you're using Visual Boy Advance emulator. I realised a year ago that the Pokemon LeafGreen that I bought when I was young was fake. hello, i have the same problem with pokemon emerald.
